WHAT to make of the Iskandar Development Region (IDR) and the hype surrounding it is admittedly difficult. Prior to his interview last week with Singapore's Berita Harian, Singapore's Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew hadn't said much publicly about the proposed new economic zone in south Johor.
